Spring Bay Boat Club holds regular, monthly social gatherings. These are always announced to members by email and open to all members and their guests. You will also find them under EVENTS on the Spring Bay Boat Club Facebook page @boatinginspringbay
Often these gatherings will be on the second Friday of the month, include a BYO barbecue and commence at around 6:30 pm. Sometimes we will have a guest speaker or indulge in some boat-related screen time.
In addition to these events, members mostly gather at the Club after sailing races in the Spring and Summer and share a drink and a meal. All members, sailing or not, are welcome at these gatherings on Tuesdays and Sundays (refer to SBBC Events Calendar for when Twilight and Pennant Races are held).
Included in our social calendar are events such as a Christmas Party, an Annual Dinner and
Trophy Presentation, a Camping Weekend, a Mystery Road Trip, a Quiz Night and the East Coast Classic Cruise. When scheduled, these usually replace our monthly Friday-night Club barbecue.
We always begin the boating season in October with an Opening Day “Sail-past” on Spring Bay, followed by a shared meal at the Club.
The Club has a very active Social Committee who can be contacted using the email@example.com email if you have any queries about our Social Calendar or specific events.
